Unity is a recurring name in the Valiant Universe. It started as the title of Valiant's first crossover. The original Unity story was a crossover event involving every book they published in 1992. Valiant was later bought out by Acclaim Comics, who rebooted the Valiant Universe in 1997. This lead to a new event called Unity 2000 in 1999. The rights later returned to Valiant Entertainment, who rebooted the Valiant Universe again. Matt Kindt began writing a team book titled Unity in 2013.
