Tal’Set is a Native American warrior, and inheritor of the mantle of Turok, guardian of the Lost Land. After being trapped in the Lost Land, he battled numerous foes such as the Campaigner and Lord Tyrannus, before the mantle was eventually passed on to his descendant Joshua Fireseed.

- In Turok: Rage Wars, another character named Tal’Set appears, referred to as the "first Turok". He has a much different design than Tal’Set in any of his appearances, and his presence does not agree with the canon established in previous games, so it can be assumed this is a coincidence.
