Seed of Destruction is a crossover event published by Valiant Comics in late 1992 and early 1993. The event consists of three issues of the first volume of X-O Manowar, and a single issue of the first volume of Solar, Man of the Atom. All four issues were written by Bob Layton, with Kevin VanHook "scripting" the Solar issue, and illustrated by the regular series artists.
The story involves X-O Manowar and Solar, Man of the Atom teaming up to battle the monstrous Spider Aliens.
