Ninjak is Denny Meechum, a high school student who gained the power to transform into his favorite cartoon superhero. The Acclaim Comics version of Ninjak is an original creation by Kurt Busiek and Neil Vokes, using the name of the original Ninjak published by Valiant Comics. He shares very few similarities with the original, who was a British spy named Colin King. The original Ninjak was created by Mark Moretti and Joe Quesada, first appearing in Bloodshot #6 (1993).
