The Goph Lands is the lowest level of North Am in the 41st Century. Most of the Goph Lands are underground as the modern cities and milespires are built on top of the old cities. An old magnetic canal system connects different "ground levels" and a few Tubes connect the "ground levels" with the upper levels. Most "Gophs" are poor and less educated, resulting in Goph speech. The people in the upper levels are referred to as "cloud-cloddies."
