Notes[]
- Both the Convention Preview and Unity Red were distributed and sent to retailers in September 2013.
- Retailers could order any amount of "Pullbox" variants to match their orders of X-O Manowar (Volume 3) #1 with Unity #1.
- Retailers received 1 copy of the "Retailer Incentive 3-D Motion Returnability Cover" (by Clayton Crain) for each 100 copies of Unity #1 that they had ordered and not returned.
- Unity Golden Ticket: Valiant distributed five unique copies of Unity #1 with a very special UPC code (above the price) saying "#UNITYGOLDENTICKET", granting the owner a VIP pass to the 2014 New York Comic Con (NYCC). Another five passes were randomly given to the participants of a mail-in contests.[1] Later it was revealed that the five unique UPC's could only be found on copies of the five pullbox variants; one each.[2] Each of these copies are considered one of the most unique and rare comics ever published by Valiant Entertainment. The only other truly unique copies are "The Only Second Printing In Existence!" cover for Quantum and Woody (Volume 3) #1 and the "One-of-A-Kind" variant cover for Bloodshot Salvation #12 with an illustration by Lewis LaRosa featuring Vin Diesel as Bloodshot.
- The Phantom Variant edition has two covers, the blank sketch cover on the outisde and the inside cover by Agnes Garbowska.
- Gilad's forearm is still broken from his previous encounter with Aric in X-O Manowar (Volume 3) #16.
