The United is a team of superheroes in the Valiant Universe. They were brought together to rival Unity.
History[]
A deadly team superhumans was gathered together by a clandestine cabal of international heads of state dubbed the Underground Ambassador Liaison. The Liason found the idea of superhero team Unity harboring GIN-GR, an alien robot that destroyed an entire city, very unsettling. The team, named "The United", were tasked with forcing Unity to hand over GIN-GR to the proper authorities.
While they ultimately failed, they did succeed in exposing GIN-GR to the world, heightening public distrust towards Unity. Gang, Stock, and Ultimo were taken into custody, but the Myth stayed at large.
